Combination of IPL and Radiofrequency
Pigment treatment based on ELOS technology is an effective yet gentle procedure designed to reduce visible pigmentation on the skin.
The intelligent combination of IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and radiofrequency (RF) energy targets pigmented areas precisely, while protecting the surrounding tissues.
During the treatment, high-energy pulsed light penetrates the skin to a depth of 2–4 mm, where it is absorbed by the pre-selected target areas — the pigmented tissue — and exerts its therapeutic effect.
How does pigment treatment work?
As a result of the light energy, pigment spots may temporarily darken during the treatment.
This is a completely natural reaction and indicates that the light energy has successfully reached and activated the melanin-containing cells.
After the treatment:
- the spots gradually lighten within 1–2 weeks,
- and after the recommended number of sessions, they fade significantly and in many cases almost completely disappear.

- the hands
What types of pigmentation can be treated?
ELOS-based pigment treatment is effective for the following conditions:- Lentigo – dark age spots
- Chloasma – melasma (commonly occurring after pregnancy or due to aging)
- Hyperpigmentation – increased skin pigmentation
- Photoageing – sun-induced skin damage
Contraindications for Laser / ELOS Treatments:
- use of photosensitizing medications
- active skin conditions in the treatment area (e.g. eczema, psoriasis, rashes)
- pregnancy
- fever, inflammatory conditions, or severe illness
- tattooed skin areas
- within 2 months after another laser treatment
- recently tanned or solarium-exposed skin
- if the treatment is not recommended following dermatological examination
